Registered Agent Services

     Every Corporation and every Limited Liability Company must have a "Registered Agent." The Registered Agent is also sometimes referred to as the " Agent for Service of Process." They are one and the same. The main job of the Registered Agent is to accept lawsuit documents such as summonses, subpoenas and the like on behalf of your corporation or LLC.

Some people prefer having their attorney or someone else act as their Registered Agent. If you desire, with my full service plan, my professional corporation will act as your Registered Agent in California for California corporations, California Limited Liability Companies, and foreign corporations and LLCs qualified to do business in California. However, my professional corporation cannot be your Registered Agent outside of California. The annual retainer for reputable Registered Agents outside of California is, on the average, about $125.00 per year, depending on the state.
